On August 20th, 3D shows its teeth in Piranha 3D and Dimension Films has released 3 new clips from the film, starring Jerry O'Connell and Ving Rhames
. In case you can't figure it out, Piranha 3-D is a 21st century update of the 1970's Roger Corman schlock movie of the same name that was made to cash in on the success of Jaws.
And what better way to pay homage to Spielberg's first blockbuster by reserving a part for Richard Dreyfuss? That's right, director Alexandre Aja has loaded his new lethal horror movie with tons of references to the genre it's trying to revive, mixed in with tons of extreme gore and titillating nudity, all in your face in 3D!
